Immerse yourself in a day of hands-on creativity and discover the traditional craft of bookbinding at our Wykeham bindery.

During this friendly workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of traditional bookbinding while creating your own hardback notebook and matching slipcase. Using high-quality Buckram book cloth and beautiful handmade marbled papers, you’ll be guided through each stage of the process. A wide selection of Buckram colours and marbled papers will be available, allowing you to create a unique finished piece.

This informal, small-group workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those wishing to develop their existing skills. The minimum age is 12 years, with an accompanying adult.

The day begins at 9.45 am with introductions, followed by a full day of practical instruction. There will be a breaks for lunch and during the day.
